Vision

Better Vision for Better life!

LASIK operation is a way to treat visual impairment or cases of Cornea injuries, and the Surface of the cornea can be treated accurately.

The way of LASIK treatment depend on the latest medical research and technological development in our time and it is the fastest way and more safe between the other techniques.

Can we say bye to glasses!?Research has shown that the success rate of this operation ranges between 90-95%, so the LASIK is an alternative to glasses in cases of Vision defects.
However, it should make it clear here that this type of operation is not a substitute for using reading glasses.

I interviewed Dr. Hassen Al Katheeri About the procedures that should be made before the operation and he said that a person mustn't wear contact lenses for at least two weeks before the date of operation. Women mustn't use eyeliner and make-up before the operation. A person should eat a mild food before the operation and make a thorough examination for the eye before and after the operation.

However, Dr. Al Katheeri added that some measures should be taken before doing the operation such as measure of eye pressure, measure of the cornea thickness, measure of color vision, measure of cornea curvature, examine the front and the bottom of the eye.

The results of the examination show if it was appropriate to do the operation or not.
