Black Berry
I will talk about ( black berry ) the smart phone,  specifically, the positives and negatives of it .

First  ( the positives ) :
We can use it to call and texting others as usual but
We can communication with others in black berry  by anew service of  chating. They call it ( black berry messenger ) and it dos'nt cost a lot .Also, we can use a lot of social web sites such as ( facebook – twitter – ebuddy – whatsapp _  messenger ) and of course you can use enternet .

Second ( the negatives ):
It's depend to how the person use it . Maybe he uses it very well so it's good, but the problem when the person uses it by the wrong way. It can waste time and damage the eyes .

In some countries , this service is the main reason of the road accident . For example, in Dubai they cut the service of black berry for two days  then the road accident reduced by 50% from usual .
In my school, 80% of girls have black berry .
When I ask miss A'maal( a teacher in my school ) about her opinion of black berry she said " it's very good smart phone but if you want to have it you must know how to use it in the right way  " .
In my opinion, I agree with miss A'maal  and as advice from me " there is two sides of every thing . The good side and the bad one. It you who choose which one of them to do in your life "

Friendship

Friendship is a lovely relationship established between people. Our life is nice but sometimes it becomes too tough, so we need a real friend who can carries some of our sufferings.
As the proverb says: "a friend in need is a friend indeed",freinds participate with us in our happy moments and also in our sad moments. They stand beside us and help us. They make our life better just for being in it.  Actually during their standing, they give us a power to encounter the life.
I know it is difficult to find a true friend but if you find her\him, everything will be better .
With friends you live your moment without thinking about past or future. you just enjoy your time and forget the toughness of life .
You don't forget that the life is more enjoyable if you have friend.
also the proverb says: " to have a friend be a friend ", so you should be  polite, kind, helpful, friendly, lovely and respectable. Start with yourself. Smile to have a friend. give to have a friend. Help to have a friend . Be kind to have a friend and don't forget to forgive to keep a friend.
friendship is so important for teens and students. sSchool has another meaning when you have a friend, also the school becomes the best place for study and meet friends.
It makes the school a colorful and bright place.
for me and according to my experience, my friend makes the country better not just the school and I really would like to thank her so much.
" thanks for everything Ola I will still remember your kindness all my life "

A report

A vist to Museum
last year, I and my  schoolmates  went  to visit frankincense land museum in Dhofar with our teacher .
In the museum there are seven corridors and I will tell you about each one of them.

First of all, they received us and they showed us documentary film about the museum of east Asian art in UK and the great Oman voyage around the world, especially in china. And this was the first corridor and they call it (the stage).

After that we visited the second corridor. It's named (stories and legends). The legendary stories of (thousand night and night) are considered the popular fiction of the old trade in the Indian Ocean. It was very nice to know about it.

The next corridor is about (made in china). Inside it   there is a lot of pottery with many different kinds was made from different raw material .It was well done made.

Then the fourth corridor is about (monarchy treasure). Inside this corridor there are gifts from the kings and queens in china to Omani monarchical family.

The fifth corridor was about (the great china fleet). Here we learned about the marine silk way and the sailor of it. His name is kan chan kheh, the biggest sailor in the china, and there they showed us the goods which  (Chan kheh ) took  from around the world .
After that we went to the corridor of (Europe domination) which talks about the relation between China and Europe in that time.

The last corridor and the best one was about (the marine travel). This corridor talks about the merchant ship (Gawharat Muscat), how they made the ship from rope and the steps of making the ship. It was very interesting corridor especially when we know about the parts of (Gawharat Muscat) ship. Finally, we learned a lot from the museum. We got out the museum very amazed. We give our sincere thanks to all of the workers in the museum. This visit will be in our memories for ever.

Report

A Literature Meeting

On Sunday and Monday 20-21/03/2010, Al-Saadah Basic School arranged a literature meeting for students with literate talents, mainly focusing on the students’ writing skills. The school invited other schools to participate in a competition which was the major part of the event. The meeting took place in The Crown Hotel.
We –the students- arrived at the meeting hall early in the morning. The hall was neat and tidy. The furniture was smartly arranged and the atmosphere was energizing for the competitors. There was even a small breakfast buffet at the entrance of the main hall. In short, everything was set-up pretty well by the teachers Noor Al-Shanfari, Tufool Al-Awayid, and Zainab Al-Mishali.
The event started by a bit of Al Quran being read by a brilliant student reader Hadeel Khamees.
Then we listened to different poems and other literature pieces composed by the attending students. After that, the crucial moment we’ve been waiting for had arrived. It was time for the competition.
The students met with well known persons. The most identifiable one being the Dhofari poet  Ahmad Mohammad AlMashani. They judged the entries by the students and discussed various issues with them.
In the end a few words of encouragement  were given to us by the judges and the score was announced. Many students from A'Saada school won high places. Everything went fast and it was so exiting! Even though I personally didn’t win, but just being there and examining all those literally significant pieces inspired me greatly.
The entries were a proof of the open and extensive minds of the youth, and how a person can be really thoughtful and meditative at such a young age.
